Paying it Forward

So many people, FLY Lady included, have been giving examples of paying it forward/backward or side ways and it has been really cool to read some of the testimonials.

I didn't even think about it, but the other day my ex was picking the kids up and I asked him if he could pick them up the next day too and he said he doesn't have a lot of gas this week. I nonchalantly (sp?) said "so when's payday" and he said "Wednesday" as I was opening my wallet to give him some money...

Next day, a co-worker went with me on break downstairs to the coffee stand and when I open my wallet to get my few dollars out says "my treat"... cool! Then, next day - I go to Rite Aid to get the ds some deodorant and the register "tells" the cashier that there's a sale price available, I told the cashier "nope, no coupons" and he goes digging through the weekly ad to find me one. I said "thanks for the sale price" when I was leaving.... I figured I am not about to break this chain, so today (LOL) I go on coffee break and bought a cookie for a co-worker that I knew would enjoy "a cookie" but was not participating in the holiday exchange for whatever reason. And tonight, I drove another co-worker's spare car home (I don't know the story but she ended up with two cars at work and if they leave them overnight, it would get towed) - now mind you, I don't expect to get anything else in return, but I didn't want the chain broken with me LOL!!

Tell me more stories, what have any of you done, if anything? I love hearing this!!
