Hi All!

My name is and I made the decision to way the 1st of February 2007 less than I did the 1st of January 2007. My batteries in my scale diet just in time for the 1st fo January, however, I know I am about 225lb heavy. I do not have a problem eating healthy, however, I have a serious problem with drinking enough water and food portions.... I drink a little less therefore I eat a lot more ;-)

I am 35, German, married, full time student and I have three children (ages 12, 9, and almost 6) it should not be very hard to loose weight with them considering they are always on the move, however, my weight holds me back... well lets rephrase that due to the fact that I have so much extra weight to lug around I am often too lazy to run around with my kids.

So, what will I change this year.... eating less, moving more and weighing each 1st of the month less than the last 1st of the month.

I have done WW 123 before and it worked, however, doing it was pretty effortless for me and I did not feel the loss and I started to sabotage myself.... I know this is hard to understand but if I don't feel the pain... it ain't working for me! I know that is something I seriously need to work on and I will, it's all on the list for 2007.

Anyway, nice to meet you all and I hope you can be supportive on my way to a healthier me..... I will do my best to help you!

Hi and welcome! Sounds like you know what you are going to do again and how to get there. That's an excellent plan weighing the 1st of the month (I decided to weigh the last Friday of the month at Curves LOL)

I have a goal for Feb 3rd to weigh less than Jan 1st (only cuz that is when I leave for CA again) ;-)

How much weight have you lost so far... How did you do it and mostly I am interested in what kept you motivated in those times when it was hard?

I know EXACTLY what you mean. When I started last May, my twins were 4. You'd think I would have been skinny chasing them around, but my weight really limited how much fun we could have. I was always so tired, sore, cranky, out of breath.Losing weight has made such a huge difference already, and I can't even imagine what it is going to be like in another 25 pounds - much less at my goal weight!!! Get moving, . You are going to be SHOCKED at how fast your body starts to get stronger and stronger. :) I am hoping that this year I am able to run a good part of the Thanksgiving 5K that I walked this past year. If you had asked me last January if I EVER thought I could run AT ALL, I would have just laughed. , I like your thinking. 10 this month, 7 next... since you are just starting I also reccommend that you take one of those measuring tapes for making clothing and such and take measurements of your waist, you hips, your thighs, your calves, your shoulders, your arms upper and lower and your chest. Then either once a week, when you weigh in or once a month, retake those measurements, I personally think it stays encouraging even when the pounds don't always reveal your success, your size will and it will keep you encouraged.
