Guest guest
Accurate or not due to the post-holiday retention and being in the throes of TOM, I took down 2 of my 5 lb stars (no, I did not "find 10 lbs", but I am not at a 31 lb loss right now either LOL!!) anyway - I took them down, so that I have that as a reminder when I am making poor eating choices (choosing not to follow h/f, etc.) and/or trying to make every excuse in the book to not walk or go to Curves. Gain or not, I am still down from where I was 2 years ago and as my doctor said: "I'd rather have you lose a pound a month if it means you keep it off" - I hope you all have a good weekend, a great New Year and I'm sure I will be around this weekend - gotta write the "2006 year in review, 2007 new year plan"

I am not sure what it is? It's kinda hokey, but I am a visual kinda person, so I went to the $ store and got a pack of big gold stars, like a teacher would use on a bulletin board or wall and every 5 lbs I lose I write a big fat "5" on it and tape it to my closet wall.... I gained a few pounds back, so my total loss is only 24 lbs so I "had" to take a couple of stars down...
Guest guest
Pretty cool. I will have to think of something that no one can see. Maybe for my flylady book. NH. 246.
