Tell me how much you love to work out. Wait, I can`t hear you. Oh, you didn`t say anything. The reason many of you did not lose the weight you promised yourself you would lose is because you are not faithful to me. That`s right; ME! Oh, I know you have lots of my tapes and DVDs. I believe you have my Sweatin` tapes and some of my other ones like "Disco Sweat," "Dance Your Pants Off," and some of the shorter workouts called "Blast Off." You have those boxes lined up somewhere, and every time you pass them by, I watch you! Remember, my picture is always on the front, so I can see everything! Well, sometimes my vision gets blurred from all the dust that found its way onto the cover!

Yes, you have the tools to exercise. You may own a treadmill, stationary bike, or other pieces of equipment. Where are they? In the garage or the attic? You may be the proud owner of a swell pair of walking shoes and a new iPod filled with your favorite music, but if you don`t use all this stuff, you lose, and I`m not talking about losing weight! You lose elasticity in your skin. You lose your stamina. You lose your energy, and you may lose your mind!

That body of yours was made to move. It was made to run and reach and dance and hop in the air! Exercising frees your body of stress and sadness, and exercise will make you happy, alert, and firm! Oh, I do love that word "firm." Exercising regularly will regularly burn calories, and we all need to do that, because none of us are perfect eaters!

How many days did you work out this year? How many walks did you take? How many laps did you swim? Did you tone 3 days a week this entire year? Did you remember to stretch in the morning and evening? Did you do your ab crunches every day? Look down and around and tell me what you see. Do you see a body that hasn`t done a whole lot of exercising, or do you see a body that is tight and right?

Today assemble all the fitness tapes, DVDs, toning rings, bands, and weights you own, and take a look at them and know you must use the heck out of them in 2007! Tomorrow I`ll make you feel good from your head to your shoes!
