Guest guest
A few years ago with my children, I watched the Kid's Choice Awards, when Will won for his voice in "Shark Tale," He said something I found very profound. He said, "Listen up, listen up...This is very important. The keys to life are RUNNING and READING. Why Running? When you are running, you are running, you are running, there is this little voice in your head saying, "You can't do it! Your lung is going to pop...." But if you keep doing it, you learn to defeat that little voice and there is nothing that can stand in the way of you succeeding. Why Reading? There have been millions and gazillions of people who have lived before all of us. There isn't one problem you can't have that one of them hasn't already had, solved and wrote down in a book. So, the keys to success are running and reading."That hit me pretty hard. I am sharing this with you because I found it very inspirational and I hope you find it so as well. For people who are attempting to actually lose a goal of a hundred pounds or more, it is often so overwhelming, but if we keep it in our minds that little voice of discouragement is a voice that can be conquered and it is just a lie, we can and will succeed at ANYTHING we really set our minds to and try .
