NEW ATTITUDE

I just love Patty LaBelle, and I was so honored that I got to use one of her songs in my latest DVD workout, "Party Off the Pounds," and that song is "New Attitude." That`s exactly what you need to bring into 2007! Some of you have had a bad attitude lately, and a bad attitude leads to "nuttin`" good, and you know that to be true! Today is the day you have to be excited about the New Year coming manana, and you have to know it`s going to be your year. Oh, yes it is! And the more you think that, the more it will come true!

Now don`t you start fillin` your mind with negative and sad thoughts. What good is that gonna do? I don`t expect you to never, ever think about the low parts of your life. They happened, but you can`t let these low parts ruin your life!

You know what you have to do today? You have to give yourself a little New Year`s Eve pep talk! "Wow, a new year is just around the river bend! I can`t wait for it to get here, because I`m going to ride it hard. In 365 brand new days, I`m gonna prove to myself that I`m a winner! I will get up each morning and welcome the day with a smile and a plan. Watch out world; here I come!" Ooh, I felt a new attitude just writin` this to you!

For the last 5 days, I have done my best through my messages to get you ready for tomorrow and beyond. Now the rest is up to you! I want you to get a piece of paper, because you know what we have to do. That`s right; we have to make out our New Year`s Resolutions. I want you to write them by hand on that piece of paper, just like our forefathers did when they hand wrote the "Declaration of Independence"!

Before you write a word, think about what you really want to accomplish starting tomorrow. What stays, what changes, what will remain the same? You have to make these goals realistic, and there can`t be too many of them, or you will get overwhelmed. Number them, write them clearly, and sign that piece of paper. Don`t show this paper to anyone! It is no one`s business but yours. Don`t let the clock strike 12:00 until this last assignment of the year is completed!

Love,
