Guest guest
Hi, Cheryl! I wish you the best in your efforts, and I want to help you get started by asking you a very important question... Why January 1??? If you are ready to lose weight and keep it off, why wait more than 2 1/2 weeks to get started? Do you know you could be off to a great start in 2 1/2 weeks? You could be 5 pounds lighter in 2 1/2 weeks! If you are ready to lose weight, start by changing how you think about the process. Decide that you are going to start today with making small changes that you can stick with for life - not that you are going to go on a diet starting after the holidays. Decide that you will eat sensible portions TONIGHT! Decide that you will eat a healthy breakfast in the morning. Don't waste the next 2 1/2 weeks of your life waiting for an arbitrary starting date. Start now! Good luck! > > > I would love a partner to keep me accountable. I am starting my new > weight loss plan on Jan the first with healthy eating and bo flex I > pray that I can stick to it. I would Love to hear from ALL of you and > make new friends. Thanks so much and have a blessed holiday. Cheryl > Harmon >
Guest guest
Welcome Cheryl. It sounds like your ready to go. Start making baby changes before jan 1 and it will seem easier. Like account for your water. OR your sleep. NHMom to AbnEm...
Guest guest
Hi Cheryl - welcome to our group! I am sure you already got brow beat over saying you are starting on "Jan 1" vs "now" (LOL how is that for knowing these women)... I hope you have a plan, no matter when you choose to begin. Start small: water, portions, etc. If it hurts too much to exercise right now, has any one recommended 's "Sit Tight" (or whatever it is called or on PBS there is a "Sit and Be Fit" program. Either one should work for you in your current situation and then as you lose some weight and can move better, you can do more.
