A gal just like me! LOL > But my eating is out of control. That thing in your body that tells > you you have had enough is broken, I think. I've been saying that for years, and now scientists are finding out that it's *true*! Something to do with various hormones, like leptin. As soon as they find out *how* all those things work they can figure out how to fix it. > Hi, Sue from NJ, a, and Ann if you are all still here! a slowly vanished when she started working full time, comes and goes, Ann is now working full time but still checks in, and I'm still here, sometimes keeping quiet so I *don't* stir up trouble, but recently back from hubby's vacation week and I think I stepped on toes already. Guest guest
My first blessed day back with : I was busy packing my lunch in the morning so for breakfast I mixed 2 scoops of a soy protein powder with about 12 oz of coffee. This I consumed at work. For lunch I ate two cups raw broccoli, cauliflower and baby carrots. I also had some free celery sticks and cucumber slices. I measured out 4 Tb of a fat free dill dip (yum). I also had 2 oz of turkey dark meat on a hamburger bun and an apple. I was starved and headachey at 4:00 p.m. so I had another apple. At work I drank 5 twelve ounce glasses of water. 4 of the glasses were flavored with sugar free drink mix, but I decided that is OK. This left the evening with a huge amount of food to consume: 2 cups pasta, 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce, 3 ounces turkey white meat, 3 TB parmesan cheese, 1 cup steamed green beans. 1 cup ice cream. This leaves 2 starch and 2 fruit. I'm going to have jelly toast and a little orange juice before bed. I'm using the 2,000 calorie card. Exercise today was a walk at lunch hour, 3 flights of stairs, and twice around the mall after work. I'm still working on the last two waters. I'm very grateful I was able to get a day in. Guest guest
> My first blessed day back with : Looks like you had the day pretty well planned out. Congrats! Maybe to offset that 4pm headache you can have that apple or other planned snack closer to 3:30pm. Keep up the good work, Kim! I have no clue about calories consumed for myself today - but I am sure I am "good" LOL!! For my own exercise, I walked 2.75 miles and did a 1/2 of a Curves workout (thought I was gonna die with that) - meaning I only went around 1 time for 15 min vs 2 times for 30 min workout... Guest guest
Day Two Skipped breakfast again. Had a cappucino at work: Two Tb cappucino mix, about 6 ounces coffee, 2 scoops soy protein powder and water to make 20 ounces. Late lunch was 2 ounces white meat turkey, 1 cup pasta, 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce, 1 cup green beans, 2 Tb parmesan cheese. Snack was 2 cups raw cauliflower (yuck) with about 1/3 cup fat free dill dip. Supper was an odd invention: 1 1/4 cup rice, 3 ounces ground beef and 1/2 cup crushed pineapple all mixed together. Finished with 1 heaping measuring cup of ice cream (2 dairy, 1 starch, 2 fat). I'm working on my last 8 ounces of water and I'm going to do 15 minutes of yoga with Raquel.
Guest guest
Five days of good eating. My exercise today was walking from the bus to home. I was going to say, " no exercise " . But I'm counting everything! What I did not do was lay on my couch and eat. Adding what I did do with what I didn't do, I had a good day! I got in a lot of walking today too!! Missed a bus and figured that it was better to walk and be a little (ok a lot) cold vs standing there getting frost bite and hypothermia!! Keep up the great job!!
