YOUR NOVEMBER CHALLENGE

Happy November 2! How did you treat yourself yesterday? I know some of you

are on a plateau, and others of you have lost your motivation. You`re not

excited about entering this new month. Well, do I have a challenge for you

that will shake, rattle, and roll those pounds off!

If the scale is not showing the number you want to see, get your FoodMover

out and set it for Blast Off week. If you`re a member of the Clubhouse, the

electronic FoodMover is there waiting for you! Look and see how many

portions you get from all the 6 food groups and plan your meals for the

week. Get a sheet of paper out and start writing or start typing on your

keyboard the breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks you`ll be enjoying for

7 days.

I know many of you have been on Blast Off week before, and you do get quite

a bit of food, especially when you stretch your freebie foods out. I can

hear some of you now. " I don`t think I can stay on it for 7 days. " Well, I

believe you can, so there! After 7 days on Blast Off, you will move up in

calories to the appropriate amount for your weight.

The next part of the challenge is the sweatin` part. A handful of you

exercise 6-7 days a week. Most of you don`t. I`ve always preached that every

day that you eat, you must move! Here`s your challenge. You have to exercise

30 minutes a day every day. You can do 30 minutes in a row or break it up

into 2 15-minute segments. Now some of you move more than that, so you keep

doing what you`re doing! The important part is that you`re being active

every day, not just some days. Do you think you can accomplish this feat for

the whole month? I believe you can!

And the third part of the challenge is keeping your spirits high every day,

and you can only do that by reminding yourself that you`re a real swell

person and that you love yourself! You also have to remind yourself why you

are on this journey and what you want to achieve!

If you stay on program every day this month, you will have no trouble facing

the most difficult food month of the year, December. Please take this

challenge. You`ll be glad you did!
