Click here to go to the survey! Then read `s Daily Message for today! ROUGH WEEK Please tell me it`s not so! Please tell me Thanksgiving week is not upon us. You see, Thanksgiving is not just one day. It`s the few days before and the few days after! I used to start cooking around this time for Thanksgiving. By Wednesday night, I had practically finished everything I cooked! LOL! When I`d be making my recipes, I`d say, "Oh, just let me taste this one!" And before you`d know it, it was gone! You and I both know that losing weight is difficult, but this week is going to be a real challenging week for all of us. That`s why I need you to please remember our November challenge. I want you to work out every day this week, including Thanksgiving, and I need you to really stay on program with your eating, too. I know you`re saying, ", aren`t you asking the impossible?" You know, I don`t think I am. First off, there`ll be nothing that you`ll be making that you haven`t eaten already. There`s turkey, there`s stuffing, there`s sweet potatoes in some shape or form, many times topped with melted marshmallows. You`ve tasted the green bean casserole, the Waldorf salad, and the pumpkin pie. I mean, how many Thanksgivings have you been present at? One for every year you`ve been alive! Don`t shake your head and tell me you can`t do it. Nobody loves Thanksgiving dinner more than me, but over the years, I`ve learned to control myself with all my favorite foods around. Do you remember how many calories you should be eating every day? How many fat windows you get? You have to stay true to your portions! "But , it`s okay to splurge a few times a year!" But is it? The average American this week will gain 5-7 pounds! Talk about stuffing yourself with stuffing! What would you do if you gained 5-7 pounds? Would you enjoy this week any more? How long will it take you to lose 5-7 pounds that you put on in a short amount of time? Almost a month! So I need you to stay focused. I need you to remember your goals, even when you`re talking turkey. Love,
