Guest guest
One of the biggest reasons people fail in a diet is because they lose their focus. When you make it all about counting, measuring, and forced exercise, it becomes a chore- not the dream fulfillment it was when you started... SOOOO.... Today, everyone respond (or at least think about) WHY you are on a diet. I'll go first: We watched " Honey, we're killing the kids " one night, and I realized how many unhealthy eating habits my kids had already. It occurred to me that I wanted to see them healthy and active, living long and happy lives. There were a few problems with that, though- one, they weren't healthy or active, two, I am not going to live long enough to see them age if I don't change me, three, eating habits start young, and it's our job (as their parents) to SHOW them how to do that... the best way is by example. My goal is to lose weight so I can keep up with them. I don't want to eat fast-food dinners and go to the movies with my kids all the time. I want to be a soccer-mom, maybe even help coach the team. I want to inspire my kids to live life to the fullest- not teach them to be lazy and overeat! If I want them to change, I have to do it first... So, that being said, I am turning off the computer for a while! Have a great day, everyone!!! Crank up your favorite CD and dance a little this morning!!
