Has anyone had this strange response to inositol?

High doses (that is, up to 20 grams) of inositol are supposed to be very

calming. I tried taking some - only one capsule, 700 mg, to start, to play it

safe - and it seemed to me that I felt a lot more tense shortly afterward, not

calmer. There are no fillers in this pill that I have any problems with. Did it

twice, same result. Has anyone else had this experience? Can anyone explain it?

Is it possible that at a lower dose, it has the opposite effect?
