Guest guest
Does anyone know of any natural supplements for asthma? My rescue inhaler doesn't seem to help very much at all. It gives me a lot of side effects. Have you tried what you're suggesting? Thank you! Sue

A prescription would be Singulair. When my son was using his inhaler a lot, he was on Singulair. He also used a long acting inhaler plus an anti-inflammatory inhaler. He was on three. If he was not getting helped by his rescue inhaler, I would call or take him to see his allergist. If I were you, I would be contacting my doc. Breathing is kind of important... The shakiness that happens when you using the rescue inhaler will resolve as you use it. I know my son hated the hand shakes he would get when he started using his inhaler after not using it for a while. As far as a supplement that helps allergies, this is what was recommended to him: (no financial connection) http://www.metagenics.com/products/a-z-products-list/Sinuplex Sinuplex features a unique, blend of vitamin C, quercetin, nettle root extract, bromelain, and N-acetylcysteine.
