Guest guest
Hi All- I already bought organic licorice root in both the powdered and also the cut/sifted forms. Now I just need to figure out how much to take to mirror Dr Cheney's recommendation in his NMH proctol. The Carol Sieverling article titled " Cheney's NMH (Neurally-Mediated Hypotension) Treatment Protocol for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome " dated April 2002 contains the following: " If NMH symptoms still persist take 2 licorice root tablets with glycerizzin two times a day. Do not buy deglycerizzed licorice root. " I scoured all the well known CFS/CFIDS sites as well as our group archives and can't find any dosage specifics. I also spent a ton of time trying to find the glycerizzin tablets thinking that perhaps I could figure it out that way. Easy to find the cut and sifted root, the powders and capsules but I can't seem to find tablets anywhere. Does anyone know how many grams or mg are in the licorice root tablets he recommends? Or does anyone know what brand he recommends as maybe I can figure it out that way? Thanks Kathy
