Guest guest
Hi Sue- Saw your paragraph in the thread titled: " Dosage of Vitamin D for SAD-Carol " where you mentioned NeuroTransmitter testing. All it takes is having an open minded doc who is willing to set up an account with the lab and order the test kit for you. Or you can call the lab and see which docs are using them who are close by to where you live. It's so easy...if you live in a state where NT testing is allowed, then the lab will drop ship the test kit right to you, you do the test (usually urine) and then mail it back to the lab. They then send the results to your doc. That simple. If you live in a state where NT testing is not allowed, using an out of state doc solves that problem. Not sure where you live but hopefully they allow NT testing which just makes it easier. NeuroSciences is considered by many to be " the " lab to run NT testing and unless something has changed since my last test, they are still a Medicare approved lab. Here's the listing of all their hormonally related profiles: https://www.neurorelief.com/index.php?option=com_content & task=category & sectionid\ =12 & id=40 & Itemid=46 My doc bounces me back and forth between tests #9223/9023/9028 and sometimes 9505. Thus so far, all my NT tests have all been coverd by Medicare as long as the correct corresponding CPT and DX codes is used. As you can by linking futher on each test page...the lab even provides lists of the correct codes to use! Talk about making it simple. Anyway, I see you mentioned the VA...not sure if that means you are also on Medicare as well. Kathy ---------------------------------------------------- > >I'm not able to exercise.
