Hi

I fully concur with your thoughts, if not sutterella in the gut/bowel lining

then something similar. So far the focus has been on the luminal contents, not

the luminal wall. From my attempts at correcting the gut flora I have concluded

that it isn't just the bowel contents which is the problem but an infection in

the gut wall which is also causing inflamation.

I have taken antibiotics for imbalanced gut flora and was meant to be on them

just for 10 days or so at a time then take probiotics to rebuild the flora. but

this didn't really do much, results were fleeting, so I did Dr Usmans biofilm

protocol which required taking antibiotics for 3 months and biofilm disolviing

enzymes. Well didn't that turn my life around, 25+ yrs I had cfs and it all went

away in a matter of a couple of months, and I mean all symptoms and the weight

just fell off me but I was still eating the paleo diet I have had to live on for

years because carbs made all symptoms worse and the weight just pile on.

Directly after the antibiotics I did 2 weeks of donor stool infusion here in

Australia at the centre for digestive diseases. My health just continued to

increase and my sense of wellbeing was unbelievable energy sky rocketed, my

cognative ability improved significantly and I just glowed health, I looked 20

yrs younger and from only being able to dawdle 100 or so metres I went to

walking briskly for 40 minutes a day with no fatigue. Also I could eat carbs

and my weight stayed the same. But after a couple of months all my symptoms

gradually came back and so did the weight. Stool tests revealed I still didn't

have any good flora.

I have repeated this process but not on antibotics for 3 months just 10 days at

a time. Each time I loose weight and my symptoms start to lessen, I am still 10

times better than before I did the 3 mths of antibiotcs but gradually gradually

my health is slipping. I have come to the conclusion that there is an infection

in the gut/bowel wall that responds to the antibiotic. This is causing

inflamation and doesn't provide the correct environment for good bacteria to

embed and flourish. Maybe that is why I can't build up the good flora even with

donor stool infusions.

I am eagerly waiting for them to start applying this possibility of sutterella

to cfs, and to bring out testing and treating for it.

In the meant time am getting MAF314 as this is meant to heal the inflamation and

assist the immune system becasue it is compromised in those with cfs, it also

has lactobacillus rahmnosus which survives in an acidic environment not like

other flora and it also asists in killing undesirable pathogens. see this post

on it

I don't think lactobacillus acidophilus is the flora we need to rebuild the gut,

not when there is a pathogen present or the luminal wall is inflamed to the

extent I believe it is in those with cfs is.

I am fully convinced the problem is in the gut wall and this is where sutterella

lives. It could just well be the little critter at the core of the onion of

which there is so many layers masking the real cultprit that is causing all the

oxidative stress and toxins and hence glutathion depletion and stress hormonal

depletion. I have peeled my onion right back with extensive testing, treatments

and supplements to be able to pin point it to the bowel wall.

I have also had my nagalase measured and it is very elevated (meaning there is

an infection causing the immune system to make the nagalase) but they can't find

the infection causing the elevated nagalase, because they aren't looking in the

right place, yet.

Hi ,

Please keep us posted on how it goes with the MAF314. Sounds like a good

possibility!

Hi,

I've been following your story. When you first mentioned improving on the poop

infusions and then your health declining again, I did wonder if it was the

antibiotics that caused the improvement.

I also believe I have an infection ON or IN the upper gut wall that is causing

great problems. I have also compiled a biolfim protocal for myself that is a

bit different from Usmans. I used some logic from a website called 'cooling

inflammation' run by a man named Art Ayers. it would be useful to compare

notes.

Hi

just want to acknowledge your post, I am at present travelling and it is a bit

hard to find the time to sit down and look at the site you mentioned and compare

notes. Can you just give me a couple of days and I will get back to you. I am

also interested to compare notes.
