Guest guest Posted December 4, 2011 Report Share Posted December 4, 2011 I believe it helps fuel the shortcut from homocycteine to methionine (from 6 o'clock to 12 o'clock in the cycle), bypassing the 9pm spot that requires B-12 and zinc, can be messed up by lead poisoning and by a particular genetic problem (I'm looking at a diagram that shows these things).
