Guest guest
Hi Joyce..raw nuts don't actually sprout in the same sense as seeds, you simply soak them for a few hours to destroy the enzyme inhibitors..I usually soak softer nuts for around six hours, harder nuts for twelve hours..soaking makes them easier to digest. ~Andy~ How do you sprout raw nuts? thanks joyce
Guest guest
http://.org/seeds/nuts.html I have been sprouting nuts for a year using these directions, small wide-mouth mason jars, and screen covers I bought from them. Some handy people make their own screen covers very cheaply from stuff they get at the hardware store. I love sprouted and soaked raw nuts and seeds. Sometimes raw green sprout salads can make me feel a little less toxic, and a little bit more energetic, although they do not improve the underlying illness. I also recently heard of someone soaking/sprouting hazel nuts, which are not mentioned on . Best luck with this, Nicola >How do you sprout raw nuts? thanks joyce

Guest guest
Health food stores sell the plasic tops with an open grid. these fit on the wide mouth ball jars. Some also have stainless steel screen material in the correct shape to fit under the Ball jar top. You can also be creative and drill a series of small holes in the top of a jar top. If you use plasitic it will not rust. Make sure the holes you drill are not too large or too small. > > http://.org/seeds/nuts.html > > > > I have been sprouting nuts for a year using these directions, small > wide-mouth mason jars, and screen covers I bought from them.
