How much magnesium oil do you spray on painful areas? I bought the spray some

time ago, but don't how much to use.

Sue, I've been taking it for quite a while, up to 200mg doses with meals.

Despite all the veggies I consume, I still have a time with constipation. My

doctor recently prescribed Magnesium Chloride because it is better tolerated

gut-wise. If Epsom Salts (Mag Sulfate) don't bother you, try that. Can be very

relaxing. I cannot tolerate sulfates, so cannot do them. I also just got a

Magnesium Oil spray to use directly on painful areas. Swanson's Vitamins.com

Magnesium Oil is a Mag Chloride Brine.(Dr. Barbara Hendel's brand). Seems to

help.

I don't know if all magnesium oil sprays are the same strength, but I

assume they are. My doc has me using 32 sprays total on my arms and legs

once a day. It burns my skin a lot so I first wet my skin and then rub on

the spray and that makes it tolerable.

I just spray it on, and rub it in. I sometimes spray it into my hand for places

that are hard to reach. You can try a light spray. I can't imagine this hurting

anyone.

Magnesium chloride spray can sting pretty bad for some people. Put on

straight, after a few minutes my skin is painful and bright red. Watering

it down helps. Here's some good info on making your own spray from

magnesium flakes:
