Guest guest
To Al and others at - Another volunteer, who thought she was answering a private post, typed this but it was with my words. I can't answer questions on lists anymore due to time and illness constraints but will answer this one as it was posted. Our " speculation " isn't mine but a disease model by our entire medical committee (we're all volunteer and all on our medical committee are patients as well as physicians, PhDs, or in some phase of the medical community). The model is based upon the relationship we've found that encompasses ciguatera poisoning, Stat-1 depletion and myelodysplasia. For those not aware or who are not members of the National CFIDS Foundation, our funding has already shown replicated science to prove that, in CFS, Stat-1 is slowly depleted over time. That made our work easier as only a very few viruses and even fewer bacterias have that capability as well as low-level radiation poisoning. Our winter edition summarized an article that described those found that are capable that was published by French Stat-1 experts. This finding explains why so many viruses and bacteria are found in CFS and why they have never been found to be causative. Another finding of replicated science that took 8 years of our dedicated funding (thanks to the patient community) along with the help of the NIH's funding of $1 million, proved the test for ciguatera is a biomarker for all autoimmune diseases. In order to publish in the medical journal where this was announced, the work must be replicated. Yes, that means that all patients with what we refer to as CFIDS/ME, since we do not recognize the 2005 Empirical Definition for " CFS " , have an autoimmune disease. The testing for this by the A. Burns School of Medicine (U. Hawaii) has been offered since 2003 and will be available only for a short time longer. The testing protocol is on our website. The model is also backed up by research finding mitochondrial deletions (work done in Australia and in Ireland) as well as work done by Dr. Loganofsky who worked for the WHO following children and workers at Chernobyl and who published in the now defunct Journal of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. He found those with " CFS " to have all the same characteristics. It is the model our funding is now following. When the actual cause is proven, the National CFIDS Foundation will happily go out of existence but, until then, we know simple detox methods cannot cure DNA depletions, etc, etc. I'm sorry that time does not allow me to post on lists such as this one as I don't have the time to read all the posts. I do, however, try to answer each e-mail sent to me as well as ones sent via our website at _www.ncf-net.org_ (http://www.ncf-net.org) . On that website, medical journal articles based on all the above I've mentioned can be found along with Congressional Testimony and even C-Span video. Gail In a message dated 3/28/2011 2:24:57 P.M. Even NOAA has article mentioning the use of Cholestyramine for Ciguatera. Al > > > But mold and lyme toxins can't cause Parkinson's and so many other > autoimmune diseases.
