hello group,

I have recently been increasing my T3 dose to reduce a Reverse T3 issue (this

concept is not accepted by mainstream endos). Around the same time, I started

Low Dose Naltrexone.

I have experienced a diminishing of my fibro pains over the last 3 months. I

assumed it was the LDN and reported as such here.

Recently, I had to get off LDN for 2 weeks for some testing, colonoscopy,

endoscopy, etc. and I found that my fibro pain was practically gone. (It is

gone with the LDN as well).

Then a forum that deals with adrenals, thyroid, etc

NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/?yguid=27521\

posted this link in the files section and it certainly may be what has relieved

my fibro symptoms.

Link to abstract:

http://www.thyroidscience.com/cases/lowe.9.6.10/lowe.t3.fms.9.6.10.htm

Link to full pdf seems to be broken. I will alert Dr. Lowe to that fact.

I am not 100% sure if it is the T3 or the LDN - perhaps it is a combination. I

also do not have the severe back pain due to spinal stenosis. If someone would

measure my substance P, I would bet that it is reduced. Just wanted to report

that it may not be the LDN alone.

HTH,

Marti
