Hello Ellen

My protocol is as follows

Doxycycline 200 mg a day

Azithromyacin 250 mg three times a week

Flagyl once a week one to 1.5 grams

This is just my thing but I may skip a day of antibiotics if I am

experiencing kidney pain

I also use Pyruvate (which helps to kill Cpn in conjunction with abx)

and energy

and I use NAC with helps kills Cpn in one of it's forms

probiotics too

The Flagyl is the strongest of the three that is why it is done once a

week but it gets the quickest results

I prefer to avoid abx but according to what I have read antibiotics

are the only way to kill this infection

Some people think Cpn is the underlying cause of CFS

Hi Steve,

I am sure I have multiple chronic infections.

The methylation protocol helped me get 20%-30% better while I was on

it, but the expense and the logistics of so many pills was

overwhelming (I was on the full Yasko protocol at the time). I've

backed off to about 7 or 8 supplements per day at this point. I've

seen Dr Klimas in Miami, and she has started me on Imunovir, an

Rx which must be purchased from Canada. I definitely feel a reaction

to the Imunovir, flu-type symptoms. I can't yet say I'm feeling better

though.

What does the chronic chlamydia protocol involve?

Thanks,

Hi Marcia

The Cpn protocol is pretty much what I wrote

Different Doctors have a little different combinations of abx

It seems to be working

Thanks for posting your regimen, Steve. You must be working with a

doctor on this, as these are Rx's?

When you say you are making rapid progress, could you describe your

progress?

Thanks,

M.

Each time I pulse ( which is once a week using Flagyl) I feel a marked

improvement a couple days after it's over

I am ballparking but I probably get 3 to 5% improvement with each pulse

I recover from PEM quicker I have more stamina and less cravings for

junk food

Most people pulse for at least a couple years so I have a way to go

Yes I am working with a Doc in Sacramento who specailises in CFS
