Guest guest
Hello everyone, Just a quick note to let you know how it's going with the LDN trial I am on. I ramped up slowly from 0.5 to 4.0 (currently) within the past 30 days (will try to get to 4.5, the max dose by the end of the month). Basically, moved up 0.5mg of LDN every 3 or 4 days. I am managing my pain levels with Celebrex and some herbal anti-inflammatories (boswellia, curcumin). The best thing that I have to report is an increase in my blood pressure from 90/60 on a good day to 120/72. This is resulting in less fatigue, less organ hypofusion, less dizziness and unsteadiness. All of this reduces the recovery time of any exertion (not exercise - we're talking taking a shower, fixing a simple meal). Getting off the Tramadol has helped that somewhat as Tramadol can lower blood pressure but I have had low blood pressure since I was a teen and have had POTS since my illness (ME/CFIDS) began. There have been no new supplements other than the LDN and I KNOW it's not placebo because when my blood pressure was taken at the doctors' office, I thought the nurse made an error as it was 114/something. I have never had such high blood pressure that I had the doctor retake it herself and it was 120/72 on both arms. There are other things happening but too early to report. Very pleased, Marti
