Guest guest
Sue mentioned something that got me thinking It seems when I drive to a higher elevation (from 341 ft to 2400 ft approx) I experience more fatigue and I get this massive appetite I usually can't do much but rest when I go If I work I last a couple days I wonder why this is and what I can do to fix it ? Is it thinner air different air pressure is my methylation cycle taxed ? One of the things I am going to try next time I go is do cleansing when I go ,this I think will help to assuage the massive appetite But I wonder about the fatigue I need to be able to function up there because this is where I get training in appliance repair This CFS is a major problem Thanks All Steve
Guest guest
Hi Steve, This is related to hyoxia. You can search the archives as it has been mentioned a few times. Or google hypoxia. I would add more but don't want to steer you wrong - just point you in the right direction. There are various ways to help with this - the only thing I can think of off the top of my head is natural blood thinners like butchers broom or maybe asprin or the " -kinases " , serrokinase, etc. Hypercoagulation may play a part in contributing to hypoxia which means not enough oxygen - but google it to make sure as I am fuzzy on this. I live at a low elevation and don't travel anymore so I don't have to deal with this issue. Guest guest
Thanks Marti Really Appreciate it I wonder if this is something related to CFS? But I will do some research I remember that was a problem my grandfather had so it may be a genetic tendency Steve On Feb 5, 2010, at 11:44 AM, marti_zavala wrote: > Hi Steve, > This is related to hyoxia. Guest guest
Hi Steve I have just watched Dr Cheney's 2 DVD's - Is oxygen the problem? On the first DVD he states and I quote 'Some of the first data generated by us and others is that if you exercise people and collect oxygen consumption data is that these people consume oxygen at a significantly lower rate than normal people do. This is (refereing to a graph) a 25 case control age and sex match study we did in the 90's demonstating what others in large numbers have demonstrated. Namely these patients consume about 2/3 less oxygen for a given maximum exercise criteria test than normal people do. This low oxygen consumption at max exercise is probably one of the best disability arguments that can be made.' Therefore it makes sense to me and I could be wrong, but that the higher the eleveation the more fatigue you have if you have cfs and that you would want to eat as the body is trying to replace the energy required by the heart because it is being exerted more than a healthy person at higher elevations in order to get the oxygen. The DVD's were only I think $6 and certainly explained a lot about the progression of the illness over time and the effect on the heart. I forget how I found out about the DVD's but if you are interested I am sure a call to his office would organise them for you. You are right cfs is a major problem!!! crusaderD > > > > > > > > > Sue mentioned something that got me thinking > > > It seems when I drive to a higher elevation (from 341 ft to 2400 ft > > > approx) I experience more fatigue and I get this massive appetite > > > > > > > > > I usually can't do much but rest when I go > > > If I work I last a couple days > > > > > > I wonder why this is and what I can do to fix it ? > > > > > > Is it thinner air different air pressure is my methylation cycle > > taxed ? > > > One of the things I am going to try next time I go is do cleansing > > > when I go ,this I think will help to assuage the massive appetite > > > > > > But I wonder about the fatigue > > > I need to be able to function up there because this is where I get > > > training in appliance repair > > > > > > > > > This CFS is a major problem > > > > > > Thanks All > > > > > > Steve > > > > > > > > > > > " Some men measure their lives by days and years other by love affairs > passions and tears but the truest measure under the Sun is what in > life for others have done? Guest guest
thanks crusaderD I did not know a lot of that Steve On Feb 6, 2010, at 5:54 PM, crusaderD wrote: > Hi Steve > > I have just watched Dr Cheney's 2 DVD's - Is oxygen the problem? Guest guest
I wanted to add to my last comment that The kinds of exrcercises that I have enjoyed the most are the one where you control breathing and I think make more oxygen avaliable to the body than is needed Swimming, Yoga , Goju ru Karate (where breating is emphasised) I'm thinking I like these forms in because as a CFS sufferer I don't utilize ogygen as well as others Thanks > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Sue mentioned something that got me thinking > > > > > It seems when I drive to a higher elevation (from 341 ft to > > 2400 ft > > > > > approx) I experience more fatigue and I get this massive > > appetite > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I usually can't do much but rest when I go > > > > > If I work I last a couple days > > > > > > > > > > I wonder why this is and what I can do to fix it ? > > > > > > > > > > Is it thinner air different air pressure is my methylation cycle > > > > taxed ? > > > > > One of the things I am going to try next time I go is do > > cleansing > > > > > when I go ,this I think will help to assuage the massive > > appetite > > > > > > > > > > But I wonder about the fatigue > > > > > I need to be able to function up there because this is where I > > get > > > > > training in appliance repair > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > This CFS is a major problem > > > > > > > > > > Thanks All > > > > > > > > > > Steve > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > " Some men measure their lives by days and years other by love > > affairs > > > passions and tears but the truest measure under the Sun is what in > > > life for others have done?
