Guest guest
before XMRV's link to CFS was found, lot of people kept asking " where is the CFS epidemic in the HIV community? " i guess the question is answered now: HIV drugs keep XMRV sleeping in HIV+ patients. if HIV drugs didn't work on XMRV, would we not have many more cases of peope with HIV AND CFS? i dont hear about many cases like this... Guest guest
I dont know if this is considered off topic or not, but, can we sue? [Moderator: Yes it is off topic, there is a list dedicated to legal issues. If you are in the US, you can sue on anything! Winning is a much harder road. (Why do you think Medical Care is expensive --- liability insurance for MDs. You are not paying the MD, you are paying their insurers.). Guest guest
What about the people that have HIV and dont respond to the HIV treatment drugs? [MODERATOR: CFIDS is an EXCLUSION disease, when all other causes of chronic fatigue are EXCLUDED, then CFIDS is the diagnosis. With HIV I see " Fatigue can be one of the most debilitating symptoms experienced by people with HIV disease " so by the manual --- you cannot have both CFIDS and HIV. HIV would explain the symptoms... per eMedicine, you cannot have the following and CFIDS * Adrenal insufficiency * AIDS * Liver disease * Renal disease * Lyme disease * Q Fever * Rheumatoid Arthritis * Systemic Lupus Erythematosus ] > > before XMRV's link to CFS was found, lot of people kept asking " where is the CFS epidemic in the HIV community?
