Guest guest
So I assume then that those with XRMV will have a depressed immune system (immunodeficient) and in particular low lymphocytes as these are what retorviruses go after ?? I say this as I know some with ME/CFS have high counts of WBC. I have always told people that a chronic virus suppresses the immune system and an active one will activate it higher , so maybe those with high counts are in the early stages of the virus? I have low lymphocytes (lymphopenia) and low CD4 counts at 376 (range of 628-1700). I fall somewhere in between those with HIV (counts of 500) and full blown AIDS with counts of < 200. So this XRMV would make sense for me with my weak immunity. I know Lupus and other autoimmune disorders can cause a depressed immune system as well and I am currently trying to see some doctors to rule these out and to just find the cause (and no I dont have HIV or HLTV)) for my low CD4 count as that is jus nort normal. The infectious disease dr. who ran the test up here in Canada just said ya it is low but I dont know why and I cant help you. He treats AIDS patients, well I feel like going back to him now with this latest study. Cheers __________________________________________________________________ Be smarter than spam.
