Guest guest
Im trying a new product called RisoTriene. Have any of you heard of it or tried it? It's just made from concentrated brown rice bran, but apparently a super dense nutrition source. It contains tons of nutrients in a small amount, and beacuse it is whole food the body knows how to use the vitamins, minerals and antioxidants in it better than a multi. I take multi's sometimes but the b complex usually gives me headaches. So this stuff looks great, should have my order any day now. Check it out here (nutrient list at end of page): http://www.healthy-living.org/html/risotriene.html ~Chris.

Guest guest
I've taken Risotriene and like it. My use of it has been rather erratic so I cannot say exactly what it might be doing for me, but I do sense a bit of a pick-up with it. However, because of price I found the identical (or 'close enough') product here: http://www.cliffscott.com/Rice_Bran.htm Sharon > Im trying a new product called RisoTriene. My husband and I tried RisoTriene a few yrs ago - no effect that we could perceive. And short shelf life after opened. YMMV. Carol W. Guest guest
Hi Sharon; thanks for the great information; I did not know Rice Bran was available in soluble which dissolves in water and regular to mix with juice or smoothies; Rice Bran is like the germ of the rice; I copied this; thanks again; Anne Conn. Nutraceuticals are natural compounds that have therapeutic effects on human systems. Some of these compounds, including a newly discovered complex of Vitamin E called " tocotrienols, " and gamma oryzanol, which is found only in rice bran, have been demonstrated to moderate blood serum cholesterol and reduce triglycerides in hyperlipidemic individuals. Tocotrienols are being investigated for anti-cancer properties in a broad spectrum of different cancers. These compounds are potent antioxidants that protect the body from free-radical damage. Rice bran also contains very high concentrations of B-complex vitamins. The B vitamins are vital to the health of the entire body but especially for the health of the nervous system and brain. Rice bran also contains beta carotene, a precursor of Vitamin A, and other carotenoids as well as most of the important minerals (low in Ca) and fiber. > > I've taken Risotriene and like it.
