Guest guest
Thanks for this, Kay. Is this only available in Mexico? Sharon, with a killer hiatal hernia, et al From: " Kay Siegrist " <ksiegr@...> Stem Cell Treatment I have had CFIDS for 25 years. In January I read the 2003 Peckerman study finding that virtually everyone with CFIDS develops the heart condition cardiomyopathy and many have a hiatal hernia. I had both. The most promising treatment for the heart condition the study said, was stem cells. After researching, I received my first Placenta Stem Cell Treatment (PSC) from an MD also trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine in Beijing. He is in Mexico. Placenta was my first choice in stem cell origins and Dr. G's method is unique in that he places the stem cells along the weakest body merideans. My improvement has been astounding. Stem cells have their own intelligence and go where they're needed and heal. My heart is very improved. It used to wake me up at night. No more. And within 10 days my 16 year hiatal hernia was gone. I mean gone! What relief. Other symptoms are reduced. I'm going back for my second treatment sometime within the next 2 months. If this interests you, let me know. I've been everywhere from Mayo Clinic to homeopaths, naturopaths, an endless list trying to get well the whole 25 years. This is the only treatment I've found that has simply made symptoms fall away and big ones.
Guest guest
hi kay - thanks so for the info on your stem cell treatment...would you mind telling us the cost? also, did you do any of cheney's cell gels or take artesunate?...i just finished going through discs from a cheney talk and he, too, is very interested in placenta stem cell transfusions... thanks, deb Your welcome. Stem Cell treatment is available in a few countries. I researced stem cell specialists and clinics in Switzerland, Germany, Costa Rica, Panama, China, and there are a precious few who do it in the US. I chose Dr. G in Mexico because after doing research, I wanted Placenta Stem Cells and I liked his method of introducing them into the body. My haital hernia was killer too. No matter what I ate or how early before bedtime I needed to sleep sometimes for weeks at a time leaned up against pillows. The heartburn was unbearable and I woke up choking and gasping for air often. I had had it for 16+ years. About 10 days after my stem cell treatment, I experienced 3 days of lowgrade fever and hurting above my stomach where the hiatal hernia was. The stem cells were healing it. When the fever and hurting went away, the hiatal hernia was gone. That was almost 5 months ago and it's still completely gone. I'm still amazed and so grateful. Just email me if you have more questions. Guest guest
In Dr. Cheney's recent video, he explains that placental stem cells are LEGAL in the US, but that most companies are putting together clinics in other countries as it allows for a much cheaper treatment, and most people cannot afford to do this.? Does anyone know of ANYONE who does this procedure legally in the US?? In my case, the issue is inability to travel at all, not even to my local doctor's office let alone Mexico or Panama or Thailand.? If it's legal (since the stem cells are autogenic I assume, and not derived from fetal tissue), I don't understand where there aren't clinics doing this in the US yet.? I looked online but couldn't find any.? If anyone has any information on anyone doing this procedure here, PLEASE email me. Peggy

Guest guest
Hi Deb, The cost of each treatment is about $10,500. Patients who are quite sick or have had illness for many years often need 2-3 treatments about 6 months apart to get all or most of the way well. I will go for at least one more. I did take Artesunate last fall and am familiar with Dr. Cheney. I too have watched his DVDs and have much respect for his work. Guest guest
Hi Al, I can only tell you what I have experienced since my first PSC (Placenta Stem Cell)treatment in February. Within 10 days bladder control problems and the hiatal hernia I had had for 16+ years were gone. Within the first month, my heart calmed considerably. It had been waking me up most nights before the PSCs and hasn't woke me up once since my treatment. Places on my body like hips, my right ankle, and parts of my back where I experienced constant acheing and/or pain are now pain free and looser. My chiropractor can adjust areas now that would not move before the PSCs. If I had to put a number on it, I would say I am about 30% better. The improvements are so appreciated. I need at least one more treatment, maybe 2. The main reasons it isn't done in the USA is due to the fact that severe rejection often results and patients often develop cancer. Also, it's not been proven to work. Guest guest
Please be careful.. My grandmother has emphasema and went to Mexico 6 months ago for stem cell insertion. Turns out they just pumped her full of steroids. She felt really well initially, went completely off oxygen then became very sick with shingles, which is typical of steroid use in seniors. I don't know which doc she went to but everyone in her area that's gone to this one doc got taken. I'll try to get his name the next time we speak. Guest guest
Jeri, Could you provide reliable studies that show that in Stem Cell Therapy, " severe rejection often develops " and " patients often develop cancer " ? This would be very helpful, given that various locations are doing stem cell therapy on PWC's, and interest is growing. It would be good to see the what medical and other circumstances, diseases, methods, preparation, physicians were involved in failed therapies. Guest guest
You are so right Wendi. When chosing doctors and health care practitioners anywhere, it is wise to check them out thoroughly. My Dr. is a highly credentialed experienced integrous physicial who was recommended to my by my MD naturopath and a Myopractitioner here where I live in Arizona. I also spoke with various patients who had been successfully treated by him before going to him myself. Guest guest
When President Bush was in office, very little stem cell research was happening in the U.S. Fortunately, I remember seeing the headline, " Obama: Stem cell ban lifted " on CNN after President Obama was elected. This article refers to the ban being lifted: www.wired.com/weirdscience/2009/03/obamastemcells/ I am hopeful beyond words that the U.S. will begin researching and performing stem cell treatments. I feel like we are in the dark ages compared to the rest of the world in the use of something that could be so promising. I think it's just a matter of time before stem cell procedures will be widely used in the U.S. The main problem is lack of research in the U.S. There just haven't been enough stem cell studies showing concrete efficacy, side effects, rejection rates, etc. I had heard of the cancer/tumor risk, but this article explains it may not be a problem anymore: http://health.usnews.com/usnews/health/healthday/080214/scientists-show-stem-cel\ ls-dont-cause-cancer.htm I have been researching stem cell therapy for a health problem (not CFSFM). A year ago, my U.S. physician recommended I look into stem cell use in Argentina, but I haven't been thrilled about the idea of going to another country where I am unfamiliar with their health care practices. As for clinics offering stem cell treatment in the U.S., they do exist, and they are very new. I found a clinic in Colorado offering a procedure using stem cells called Rgenexx (NFI) as an alternative to orthopedic surgery. I am still researching U.S. companies that may be able to help with CFS/MCS. Peggomaticaol (DOT) com wrote: > Does anyone know of ANYONE who does this procedure legally in the US?? Guest guest
Why does it not surpirse the cost of this, taking advantage of the sick and milking us. Not like placentas are in short supply here, how many babies are born/each day. yes there is a cost Im sure to get/harvest the cells and store, but $10,500, cmon. maybe I am missing some other big cost here?? I doubt it as not like they needed to do massive R & D to get it FDA approved. o well, to at least be some what positive at least this treatment is being offered. cheers From: Kay Siegrist <ksiegr@...> Subject: Re: Stem Cell Treatment Received: Sunday, July 5, 2009, 2:39 PM Hi Deb, The cost of each treatment is about $10,500. Is this only available in Mexico? Sharon, with a killer hiatal hernia, et al From: " Kay Siegrist " <ksiegr (DOT) com> Stem Cell Treatment I have had CFIDS for 25 years.

Guest guest
I want to add something. In the last 25 years of trying to get well, I've spent at least $250,000 out of pocket on things that didn't work. I'm thrilled and so very grateful to have found a treatment that is working. Guest guest
Kay, I think it's wonderful that you're feeling better. I'm kind of of the mind that whatever it takes, do it, (within reason of course). I'm just so curious about stem cell treatment. Has the treatment cured or at least helped all your CFS sysmptoms, or just the hiatal hernia? If these placental cells are that " smart " and know what to repair, will they make my aging eyes see better, as well as cure my CFS symptoms? If they work like that, the treatment is worth the price. Once they perfect things, we could feel like new again, (cautiously optimistic, of course). If this treatment becomes more prevalent, the cost may go down a bit, too. Thanks for sharing your information. > > > > > > From: Kay Siegrist <ksiegr@> > > Subject: Re: Stem Cell Treatment > > > > Received: Sunday, July 5, 2009, 2:39 PM > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi Deb, > > > > The cost of each treatment is about $10,500. Guest guest
My first Placenta Stem Cell (PSC) treatment took some big symptoms completely away (including heart/cardiomyopathy symptoms and the hiatal hernia), improved some symptoms, and didn't effect others. I can tell my body has been through big changes since the treatment and is still shifting. I've had CFS for 25 years and have a long list of symptoms. When a person has had chronic illness for 25 years, it often takes 2-3 PSC treatments about 6 months apart to get all or most of the way well. I will get my 2nd treatment in 1-2 months, see how much progress it yields, then assess whether or not I need a 3rd. It's a process. PSCs often help people's eyesight. Many people go specifically for degenerative eye/retinal problems. I've talked with many patients whose vision sharpened and it happened with me. Before the PSC treatment, my long distance vision was pretty fuzzy. It's sharp now. He works for a company that is currently supplying the 'PRP' for various places around the country. It's really an interesting procedure. The patient's own blood products are taken from their body, spun down to use only the PRP portion and then re-injected into the injured site. Evidently the PRP acts like stem cells and initiates massive tissue repair. So far, still investigational and no insurance is paying. However, if you have patients who can afford to pay out of pocket, they should ask their surgeon about this prior to some types of repair. It looks best for tendon and muslce injury. No idea how it is for bone/disc. Was treated here in Salem by a podiatrist and orthopod without relief, wore walking cast, etc. Finally heard about an N.D. in PDX who did this and went to him.
