Guest guest Posted June 1, 2009 Report Share Posted June 1, 2009 I have ME more than CFS. My question is, I started taking Glycine to help the GI track and with sleep. I took it for a week until I was feeling very ill, the heavy feeling that you get, headache, and fatigue. I have been doing so great for the last year. I have been on Rich's simplified protocol. I have had GI issues most of my life. Do not eat gluten or sugar, but still have ongoing pain in the liver area along with the usual problems, gas, bloating, but mostly the very uncomfortable feeling in the liver area. I was diagnosed with dysbiotic bacteria by my doctor. I take digestive enzymes and betaine HCL with each meal. I cannot take sulfur supplements like MSM, and ALA. I would appreciate Rich or any help as to what went so wrong taking glycine.
