Guest guest
[My system is hiccupping, please forgive if this is a duplicate.] Dear Collective Wisdom, I'd like your opinions on something. I posted recently asking for advice about finding a good infectious diseases specialist. Now I've started to wonder about going to the time and expense of finding, consulting with, and getting treatment from someone like that. If the regimen I'm currently on already is giving me a die-off/detox reaction, I wonder how much additional benefit I'd get from a more targeted treatment (which I assume would consist of specific antibiotics). If I'm getting die-off reactions, then clearly something in my system is dying off. Is it important to know what? Would I make faster progress if treatment were, at least for awhile, more targeted? Or is it enough to just proceed at my own pace with my current regimen, and assume that eventually all the pathogens will get dealt with? FYI, I've been on the full Yasko protocol for awhile. Recently after some adjustments per Dr Yasko and another increase in B12, I'm getting die-off reactions again. So it is getting to at least part of the problem. I wouldn't abandon the Yasko protocol, just wondering if I should consider an adjunct therapy for a little bit as well. After almost 2 years on the Yasko protocol, my friends say I'm gaining ground, and physically I can do a little more than before. However, my brain function is still pretty lousy. [Moderator, I add info about the Yasko protocol and myself in order to inform people's thoughts in case they feel like chiming in. No in-depth discussion of Yasko here is presumed.] Thanks in advance for any thoughts you might have.
