Guest guest
Was there a suggestion for Bartonella that works? ________________________________ From: rvankonynen <richvank@...> Sent: Friday, October 31, 2008 12:37:04 PM Subject: Dr. Klinghardt treatment for Babesia Hi, Nelly. He didn't say at that time, but I heard him give a talk not long ago. He treats Babesia within the context of his overall treatment program for Lyme disease, and it has many parts. As part of it, he mentioned using the Buhner herbs. I have a copy of Buhner's book, and to treat Babesia he suggests artemisinin capsules: 100 mg 3x daily for 30-40 days, Red root (Ceanothus spp.) tincture: one-half to one and one-half teaspoons (30-90 drops) to 4x day, and for shaking chills/sweats/ fevers: boneset tea, 2-4 cups daily. I've also been hearing good things about Dr. Lee Cowden's treatment, and for Babesia he recommends Enula, and I think the dosage schedule is 30 drops bid x 12.5 days, off 36 hours, repeated. This is available from Nutramedix. Best regards, Rich
Guest guest
Hi, Mindy. For treating Bartonella, Dr. Klinghardt uses an ozonated plant oil called Rizol My. It comes from Germany. Dr. Cowden uses a combination of several herbals from Ecuador to treat Lyme and its coinfections. Both Dr. Klinghardt and Dr. Cowden maintain that one needs to treat Borrelia and all its coinfections in a patient, because it isn't always clear which ones are present and which ones are not. Dr. Klinghardt has some very interesting ideas about this. He notes that microbes are able to exchange DNA, so that it may be that a single microbe could contain DNA from several of the bacteria and viruses. When antibody testing is done, it looks at only a single epitope from a microbe, so one can't be sure whether one is detecting that particular microbe, or another that has obtained that epitope by DNA exchange. So he treats them all to make sure he has knocked out all of them.
