I took Nexavir subq for 8 weeks with bad side effects and just

discontinued it.

WHile arranging for Nexavir cream or trying Valcyte I got a wicked long-

term upper resp thing that felt like it started as virus (the way the

alwasy do) and became bact. infect.

Can this rebound happen? Can you get worse as if you never even tried

an antirviral at all. Does the virus (H..6 and EBVs just go haywire -

fighing to remain active? Please - has this happened to anyone?

One aspect of Nexavar is that it potentiates cellular apoptosis. (i.e. may cause

infected cell die off and thus toxin release. Thus stopping will drop the toxin

load and result in a rebound. This is one of the challenges in dealing with

infections that 'infection-forms' the body (i.e. alter the body to be more

friendly to the infection). With antibiotics, you can (with tuned dosages), get

a herx that last 6 of the 12 hours between antibiotics --- thus you get worst

and then better on a daily cycle (which helps the compliance challenge with

CFIDS)]
