Guest guest
I'm fully recovered, as is Laurie [definition: we would never get a CFS diagnosis walking into a MD's office, even a 'friendly' one]. Many days we do a 2-4 hour hike in the cascades (there's about 15 trail heads within a few miles of our home) with 1500 to 2000'ft altitude gain on the hike. No after effects. One left in the family, teenager -- with the usual teenage problem of compliance. Currently, compliant and with it improvement, just ssslllllllloooooooowwwwwwwwwwww. Kid on 8000IU of Vit D3 a day and running a temperature of 99.9 most days (instead of the usual subnormal temperature). Almost all of the symptoms are symptoms of acquired brain trauma (from CFIDS infections), and many of them appear to be very localized to certain cognitive areas.
