Guest guest
It didn't do a thing for me either, though research claims it helps a large percentage with energy. I tried it for months with no luck. ~Stacey --------------------------------- Get easy, one-click access to your favorites. Make your homepage. Guest guest
My sense is that D-ribose is hyped and will not work out as advertised for most people. Carol
Guest guest
It does help me. No cure, but a little help (maybe a 10-20% increase in functionality/ productivity). If you search the archives you'll find more info. I think you have to take a lot, like 15 gm per day, for a few months for a fair trial. And maybe it has to be taken with the combination of supplements that Dr. Myhill suggests for it to work. These messages mention cheap sources online (it does get costly if bought at retail stores): #107200 #118392 I also get a little help from NADH (another expensive one). > > Corvalen/D-Ribose; is it helping anyone? Guest guest
D-Ribose, even at smaller than regular doses gives me a faster heartbeat. I avoid it like the plague. -Wendi Re: Corvalen/D-Ribose; is it helping anyone? It does help me. No cure, but a little help (maybe a 10-20% increase in functionality/ productivity) . Guest guest
Yes - the tiniest bit on the tip of my tongue gives me palpitations and severe breathlessness. Guest guest
Ribose does help me, but only at 15 grams per day. It has a mild energy improvement effect. I also take it with AL Carnitine, but not sure that part makes any difference. I buy it from Vitacost, fairly less expensive in powder form. Jill shakerz25 wrote: > > It does help me. Guest guest
Okay, I'm confused. It looks like I said that it *did* help me sometime in the past, but I don't remember this. Whoever posted this, could they tell me which post of mine this came from? Maybe I can track down what I meant at that time... Thanks, Marcia on > > > > > > Corvalen/D-Ribose; is it helping anyone?
