Sure is disheartening!

And there is ANOTHER " political " thing that needs to be factored in

to the equation.

Look around at all the drug addicts, alcoholics, immune compromised,

diabetics, other-illnesses etc. and WILDLY stressed people who seem

so strangely immune to CFS even when they've got EVERY so

called " risk factor " in the book.

Then take another look at everyone you know WITH CFS.

Holy Smoke! What happened?

Normal folks mostly. Not even people at the extreme end of all

these " stressors " .

Why, it almost looks like being NORMAL is the risk factor, and

having all these things " stressologizers " implicate actually has

LOWER risk for this illness.

Perhaps to the point that you'd be BETTER OFF if you did everything

that stressologizers say you shouldn't.

This darned illness has weird " opposite demographics " just like the

Spanish Flu: Something that doctors DIDN'T see by examining

individual cases. They had to look at the CIRCUMSTANCES afterward.

If I had my druthers, I'd have everyone here take a good honest look

at just how bad, statistically, CFSers have it - stresswise, and

compare their situation to all the people in the world who have it

FAR worse - but no CFS.

And then go BACK to their doctors who implicate stress, and say

" Not only are you totally MISSING the demographics about who really

gets CFS, you've actually got that stress association BACKASSWARDS " .
