Guest guest
If you feel so positive about this, why don't you try it and let us know how you do? Anyone tried this? Testimonials are very interesting. While I have not dedicated sufficient time to the theory at hand, I find the following testimonials very interesting. http://www.cfsrecovery.com/html/videoprog.asp Note that the theory does not need to be correct for the approach to produce a positive effect. However flawed it might be, the technique that it uses definitely appears to be doing something very positive. I find particularly intersting that Dr. Pall's ideas also discuss PTSD involvement. So my take at this time is that the " neurological desinsitization " protocol used by Dr. Zien sp? (related to Dr. Pall and MCS) might be also working at the cellular level from a different angle. Chemical and physiological. The technique discussed here may be working from different angle, yet both doing the same thing, desensitizing. Has anyone here tried the DVD program. Any effects? Any effects? ***No and I won't be trying it. It seems to be a clear variant of CBT therapy, which is a proven failure for actual CFS cases for clearing the underlying infection or other biological cause thwarting health. ***If you have CFS CBT will be no more beneficial to you for restoring you health than for someone who has AIDS, MS, Cancer or Parkinson's Disease. Two other tip-offs exposing this DVD set as sham therapy are 1) The amygdala dysfunction causal hypothesis for CFS has no scientific data to support it even though it's been around for many years and 2) The promoter is based in the UK. ***The UK is " CBT Central " .
