17 month old with 103 fever all night

my 17 month old son woke up from a nap around 6pm feeling pretty warm

and he was flushed. it is now 4:30am and he has maintained a 103

degree fever. he doesn't have any mucus or other symptoms. he is

definitely weaker than usual, but he can still play lightly, sit up,

stand, move around. what could it be? teething possibly?
