Guest guest
It is very important to be aware of the dangers of routine vit k after birth. There are some very good research articles out there. I personally believe that this has only become an issue after babies started to be born at hospitals and with a lot of intervention. Nature knows what she is doing and why she puts very little vit k in babies body's, read more about why in these articles. Breastfeeding is always the best for babies and vit K is in it, of course, and if mum had a healthy diet and keeps eating healthily, there is no problem. There is always a good reason for a the low amount of a nutrient in breastmilk, for example the low iron levels in it are beneficial as they inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria in the gut. Like vaccines, vit k carries many dangers when given in a shot to babies.
