Guest guest
Hello everyone - I've never posted before but I've learned a lot from this list and wanted to share this experience. We got a card from the health dept last week " signed " by the governor of PA saying congrats on your new baby! Make sure she gets vaccinated! And a little shot record was attached to the card! It was actually a Hallmark card with a tear-off vax record on it! How creepy - Hallmark makes a card for the Pennsylvania health dept reminding parents to get their kids vaccinated. Another weird thing - the card looked really old, like they bought thousands of them 15 years ago and haven't had to use them. Here's what i think- i read in " what your doctor may not tell you about children's vaccinations " by Cave that under the Clinton administration, Donna Shalala started a federal vax registry that tracks whether or not your kids have been vaccinated - every doc reports the social security numbers of the vax'd kids in their practices so they can tell who is and isn't vaxing. Now this card came from the PA dept of health, not a federal gov't thing, but my daughter is 3.5 months old and didn't receive any shots at 2 months. I wonder if there was some kind of check done to see how many kids didn't get their shots and if this card was sent as a reminder because the database flagged her name/SSN. This totally creeps me out. You know states receive money for each vax'd kid in their state - the more vax'd kids, the more federal money that the state gets. I think that is wrong and disturbing and totally ... CREEPY. Especially considering the ones that REALLY benefit are the pharma companies who are selling the vaxes! How much do you think they make off childhood vaxes? BILLIONS. I just can't understand how something can be for profit and made into law - its one thing if the vaxes are law and free, but another if big pharma is making a huge profit off them. I'd appreciate hearing if any of the other PA moms have gotten anything like this or if I'm being paranoid - or if any other people in other states have received anything like it. When I was born in 1977 my mom got a " congratulations " card from the governor of PA, but it didn't say anything about vaccinations!
