I would recommend the Aquasana shower filter

http://www.aquasana.com/product.cfm?id=2 and a chlorine bath ball (many

available on the Internet).

Sheri,

I thought a while back you sold water filters.? Let me know. I'm trying to

find one for the shower or bath.

Thanks, Jenn & K

I didn't see anything here for BATHS. Just showers and drinking water. What are

the chlorine bath balls? Do they take the chlorine out of the water or put it

in? Thanks for the link, Jenn & K

I did/do sell solid carbon block Multpure water filters, but now no longer

recommend that as drinking water.

Some like to run the water thru the solid carbon block and then distill it.

But shower and bath are far more complicated anyway - you need a total

house system or there are some shower filters but not totally effective

But, really distilled water is the best kind to drink? Can you drink it all the

time, ongoing without having to supplement with minerals etc.? Jenn & k

Sheri, What product do you recommend for whole house filtration?

We have well water that seems to be high in iron even after using a

water softener with the iron removing type of salt. With the water

purifier with the carbon block, can you eliminate the use of the

water softener? We live on low lying land with farm fields all

around that sit much higher, so although we don't drink the water or

use it for cooking, we use it for everything else. We use Culligan

water for consumption. I have been looking into this filtration

issue and would be interested in any input that you can offer. I

did read all your posts that you just posted.

Tara,

Are you concerned about the pesticide run-off from the farms? I think I might

be. I hate drinking city water but sometimes the well stories I hear are kinda

scary too.

I have not had time to read all the posts on filtration but was curious as to

how distillation (in a nutshell) would remove toxins. I can see how it would

destroy any pathogens but it still works on eliminating fluoride, metals and

other pollutants?

If anyone has a quick and dirty explanation of distillation I'd be grateful.

We've been drinking distilled water for about 6 months now. See if this

I am confused. I thought that Sheri N said that drinking distilled water

was not good as it leaches the minerals out of your body? I know that this

website says that it does not, but I am pretty sure that Sheri N posted some

info that says that it does. Can you help me better understand.

Thanks

No, go back and read what Sheri N sent. She is saying distilled IS safe to

drink. Here's what she said with one of the links she sent:

" After much research I now think distilled water is best

we just bought IONICS whole house water filtration system. it is supposed to be

a top notch one with reverse osmosis also. they filter also does not collect

bacteria like other carbon filters do. you can google ionics and see the

systems. it is expensive, but you can finance it through them. kim dojonovic

Yes, I don't know for sure what if any pesticides the farmer around

here uses, so I thought it might be best to be safe.

I encourage you to read what I sent

You get your minerals from food not water.

The problem is soil is depleted so decreased amount in your food

The testing that I do tests for what types of calciums you need and other

things

But you do not get your minerals from water. They are not absorbable from

water. Only from food. The plant transforms the minerals so that they

are absorbable, assimilable.

And distilled water is what takes the toxins out

All in the articles

Years ago I thought so, based on my research mostly based on what water

filter companies and holistic health practitioners said. But I since have

been convinced differently by being taught the chemistry of the body and

how minerals are assimilated and how toxins are removed. I was in errorin

past years. My current info is from people with nothing to gain from

either type of filtration. One article I posted is from a distiller

seller, but the other 2 are not and the distiller co article is similar to

my others.
