Guest guest
I watched this programe and didn't expect much from it and sure enough, it was the usual pro vaccination propaganda, full of scaremongering stories and no true information whatsoever. A very brief interview with Dr. Yazback (I don't know if I spelt the name correctly) and Jackie Fletcher's case plus a mention that the NHS (government) leaflet and the manufacturer's leaflet about Prevnar don't contain the same info about the side effects - this was all the info that was put against vaccination. The emphasis was very strongly on the dangers of the diseases but no mention of course of WHY these childre/babies had become ill in the first place ( no doubt all had been previously vaccinated with other jabs which made them more sucsebtible to meningitis), no mention if they were BREASTFED or not, (VERY IMPORTANT, ESPECIALLY WITH MENINGITIS). I was shouting at the TV but I had to calm down as no matter what I do, I can't change things with the BBC, they are not the independent, impartial TV broadcaster they are claiming to be. Hammond, another BBC presenter, did a programme about vaccination a while ago and I wrote a letter to him afterwards about how misguided he was and how much important info was missing from his programme etc. but I didn't get a reply. The programe last night is just another example of how the UK government are using the BBC and the media in general to create a fear amongst parents to buly them into vaccinating. The results will no doubt be yet more injured children. Thankfully I know better and have seen the light. As I write this, my son is recovering from yet another chest infection, with hom. and vit. c. The baby jabs he had are still affecting his constitution to this day. Ingrid -
