Guest guest
Where are you, ? I am in Australia, and here the homoeopaths have spider bite remedies in potency. I think that the vast majority of spiders in Australia are deemed poisonous so it's quite common to keep the remedies in potency. In an emergency, I believe that Ledum is the best homoeopathic remedy to give for general treatment of bites and stings. I will forward on Sheri's list of remedies for bites and stings - as always, try and find one that matches the symptoms as best you can. How long ago did the bite happen? Any help on treating this naturally? They are not the type to go to a natural doctor but would take advice from a friend like me....thanks in advance. > Well, of course I would never get a tetanus shot Here is some info on bites/stings But the brown recluse has poision that I wouldn't want to suggest for They really should see a homeopath in person but they could try the below to see what results but really need to watch this situation Sheri Lesson 28DD - Homeopathy & Bites & Stings These are to only be guidelines in the case of acute illness or first aid. It helps shorten your time in looking when you are in a hurry with an ill child. It helps you narrow down a little. Read thru the list - if you find a remedy that sounds like it might fit, then go to your book and read more about that remedy in the Internal Materia Medica. ALWAYS best to repertorize as you have been doing, but these are helpful. Repertorizing enables you to get more individual. NEVER to be used for chronic or recurring conditions. REMEDIES LISTED IN CAPITOL LETTERS REPRESENT MORE FREQUENTLY INDICATED REMEDIES APIS: This medicine is good for red, inflamed insect bites from which children experience burning or stinging pain that is worse by heat or warm applications and relieved by cold or cool applications. Hypericum: If children develop sharp or shooting pains from a bite or sting, consider this remedy. LEDUM: This is the most common medicine for itching bites or stings from mosquitoes, bees, wasps, spiders, and rats. The itching from the bite or sting is relieved by cold applications and is sensitive to touch. Staphysagria: When mosquito or other insect bites itch excessively or become large welts, this medicine should be given. DANA ULLMAN, MPH, is one of America's leading advocates for homeopathy.
