Guest guest
Stacey, from the sounds of it, what others have reported regarding their experiences w/ other FFC's, I'd have to say it just depends on the Dr. that is at that particular facility. Our dr. has been super, she's a D.O. (which I personally prefer, that's an osteopath) and makes every effort to treat holisically. However, within 4 months after taking all those vials of blood the first and second visits, determined I had issues with chronic lyme disease and had a number of other bacteria/ viruses that were causing some major problems. I appreciate Rich's recent description of HPA axix issues ...that's what the Dr. explained to us, though not as in depth. I had 4 months of 3 different antibiotics, all at the same time, plus herbal antivirals. From January until August I was maintaining fairly well. At that time after some stress issues, EBV reactivated and I'm just finishing up 2 months on Ketek. I am happy with my treatment, and feel I am making good improvements. My Dr.s explanations and treatment plan seems to be right on target for me. Perhaps I have an exceptional dr. I think Dr. Teitelbaum may lean more toward more supplements and fewer prescriptions. Diane in MI Re: Hope for long timers....FFC HI Diane, I went to the Philadelphia FFC last Dec. to March and spent a lot of money without any improvement. I'm glad you are seeing some improvement! .
