Interestingly, Sheri, on Robyn's recent first visit to our new dentist, we

made it clear from the outset that we would not agree to mercury amalgams.

We were then told (in a very chilly and outraged manner) that amalgams are

*NEVER* used in fillings there. You'd have thought we were suggesting

poisoning her - the dentist was absolutely horrified. Whether that is a

practise policy or national policy here in Australia, I don't know, but I

can at least breathe easily knowing that mercury will never be put in my

child's mouth. Nor do I have to fight the fluoride treatments - we just

politely declined, and no fuss was made.

At least some of them are waking up, it seems!
