Guest guest
Absolutely! There is no safe vaccine for anyone. I had a reaction to my last tetanus booster about 8 years ago. I had severe pain in every joint in my body for months. This was before I knew about the dangers of vaccines. My MD at the time could find no reason for the pain. I have since learned that is a side effect of that vaccine. There are many many instances of adults being harmed by the tetanus booster, MMR, Hep B vax, etc. NO one is safe from the game of Vaccine Russian Roulette. Check out this link: Vaccine Victim Testimonies http://www.whale.to/vaccine/testimonies21.html Many are adults and teens. Guest guest
Angie, This is purely my opinion and not based on anything scientific, but I would say that it is still dangerous to get vaccines as an adult. Kay and others on here can attest to bad reactions to shots. Obviously a small child's immune system is still developing, so that is an even worse time to administer a vaccine, but toxins are still toxins and just because we're " big " doesn't make them less poisonous. They are more toxic in a small child's body simply because they have less body mass to handle the load. Again, just my speculation and reasoning. Sheri B. Guest guest
With more than 40 cases of Alzheimers (sp?) being diagnosed EVERY day, I'd say there are vaccine dangers. Yet they line these poor folks up, sick or not, like clockwork each year to blast them with a flu shot. And that's just ONE of the devastating problems associated with vaccines. The connections are NEVER made and the nursing home industry is booming. Anita Totten <afaltotten@...> wrote: I have a general vax question: is it equally dangerous to get vaccinated as an adult? Guest guest
OK, but you sure don't want to get tetanus either, right? What if you step on a rusty nail? Who wants lockjaw? I don't know, people. I mean, vaccines for things like the flu or measles for kids seem obviously like overkill, able to do more damage than good. But things like tetanus that are really bad?..... -Angie, still thinking it over On Friday, June 9, 2006, at 07:36 PM, Kay wrote: > Absolutely! There is no safe vaccine for anyone. Guest guest
I don't know......personally, I avoid situations where I'd be stepping on rusty nails. My last tetanus booster was when I was 15 and I don't imagine I'll ever have another. My only shot as an adult was the flu a few years ago, before I knew better......and that was the ONE year I ended up getting the flu. (They didn't even make me get Hep B for college, surprisingly!) -Amy General vax question (was Info on New Cervical >> Vaccine) >> >> >I have a general vax question: is it equally dangerous to get >> > vaccinated as an adult? Guest guest
You're under the mistaken assumption that vaccines actually prevent infectiona. They don't. Only a healthy immune system can do that. Health doesn't come from a bottle or a shot. Read Sheri N's website about tetanus. Tetanus shots do not prevent tetanus. http://www.nccn.net/~wwithin/tetanus.htm and more here: http://www.whale.to/vaccines/tetanus.html Kay Re: General vax question (was Info on New Cervical Vaccine) > OK, but you sure don't want to get tetanus either, right? Guest guest
Does anyone know how safe the tetanus immune globulin (given after possible exposure) is compared to a vaccine? Guest guest
Getting vaccinated as an adult too has the same effects. Some people just cannot tolerate the toxins that come with it and maybe the serum itself. I had a very severe vaccine reaction when I was 18. By the time you are an adult you are through with the entire retinue of vaccinations and maybe the next vaccine would just tip the scale. The tetanus shot contains the same Thimerosal. It is advisable not to treat the fever and rashes that may appear after the vaccination. It is the bodies effort to throw out the toxins. People with psoriasis, eczema, or any other major skin trouble had better not get vaccinated against eruptive diseases. Don't get vaccinated if you are ill. I think we should ask Sheri if we can take a dose of Thuja right away if we are forcibly vaccinated. Guest guest
I doubt that the pooled blood products of many many people is 'safe' by any standard really--and if 'they' say it is 'safe', it is probably simply to mean 'it doesn't kill everyone it is given to within X minutes'.... pubrel wrote: > > Does anyone know how safe the tetanus immune globulin (given after > possible exposure) is compared to a vaccine? > > General vax question (was Info on New Cervical > >> Vaccine) > >> > >> >I have a general vax question: is it equally dangerous to get > >> > vaccinated as an adult? Guest guest
Not Sheri, but I know she has mentioned on numerous occasions that taking Thuja after a vaccination is dangerous. IF the person's total symptom picture eventually points to Thuja, absolutely, but you have to wait for symptoms to appear before treating homeopathically. But not everyone is going to exhibit Thuja symptoms. Here is a quote from Sheri from a post here from message # 92444 when someone had posed this very same question about giving Thuja after a vaccine: " This is ABSOLUTELY not true. There is no guarantee. If it were, we all would be doing it for every vaccine and I wouldn't need to be here, day in and day out. " And this from message #65137 once again about using Thuja in a mechanical way for warts: " NOOOOOOOOOO I know a lot of people think this but this is NOT how you use homeopathy Thuja is just one remedy that may be the one. You have to look at the whole symptom picture as this is a sign of a miasmatic disturbance (difficult to explain). You could suppress the wart if it is not the right remedy. When you stop a symptom or burn it off or cut it off, you are stopping the body's way of dissipating a disturbance and then it has to find another way. Thuja may or may not be the one and its an example of someone who only knows a little about homeopathy (your ped) not really having a clue. It may have been the right remedy for your daughter constitutionally or it may have suppressed it. Sorry to sound so harsh, but you just can't use one remedy for one condition in chronic situations. It just doesn't work that way. Wish it did, but homepathy looks at the whole symptom picture and finds the one substance that would produce the same set of symptoms that you are experiencing, in a healthy person. Thuja is often the remedy, but dangerous to be using without knowing for sure " Sheri I hope that helps answer your question.
