Hi Amy and welcome.

My 3 1/2 month old, has tort and plagio. They are doing some cranio-sacral

therapy on him right now. It is improving the flatness but it will not totally

resolve it without resorting to the helmet/band. From what I've been told, it

depends on the severity of the plagio and age of child.

Yes, you probably should have been warned, however many doctors do not really

know about this condition. I was lucky that my doctor caught it at 2 months

before things got really bad.
