What a sweetheart you have!!! He is soooo handsome!! A few months back we were in the same boat as you are now. My son was put in his STARband at 7 mos. old. He hit a couple of good growth spurts at the beginning of therapy but then they really slowed down. His head only grew 3/8" from Nov. 1, '01 to Feb. 6, '02!! His ped. said between 9-12 mos. of age the growth rate slows way down. was put in his band from 08/22/01 until 03/08/02 for a total of approx. 7 mos. He is still wearing it at night and for naps and it is still the original helmet he was casted for!! It still fits him! We were extremely please with the correction he received. He got approx. 95% correction -- he had mild plagio from the start. Only mom and dad can still notice some flatness!!! Anyway just hang in there, any correction is for the better!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm glad to hear he is doing so well with the band. Take care and enjoy your beautiful baby boy!!
