This may be a stupid question; but, does it matter what time of day

you take vitamin D? I know I need to use my light therapy early in

the day, so I won't have insomnia. Is vitamin D the same way? Thanks

for the help!

There is nothing in the literature indicating that Vitamin D should be

taken at specific times, and I believe that it can be taken with meals

with no problems.

The only side-effect we have seen with Vitamin D is running a

temperature for 3-4 hours after taking it at the start. The temperature

appeared to have been cause by the body's immune system becoming active

and attacking existing infection because of the presence of the Vitamin

D3 that it was badly deficient in.

I trust that you are slowly increasing to the target levels of 4-5000

IU/day of D3 per day.

I take Vitamin D3 with meals and it is well absorbed. I only take 1000

sometime 2000iu's a day which it sufficient because when I get my blood

work done it's up around the 95 level.

Cod liver oil alone is not enough to get your levels up, you need to

take tablets or capsules.

My doctor warned me not to take too much because it raises D2 levels

(or something like that), which is not good. He told me this over the

phone but I need to discuss it further when I see him next month.
