Im seeking an answer to the following.

The other day my alarm clock woke me up giving me quite a shock. I

was so shocked by being startled awake that I took my pulse just to

see how fast it was going. I expected it would be going very quick.

Instead it was fairly slowly going .. bomp..... bomp......bomp.....

(and then the weird part) it like sucked in ....

bomp......bomp.....bomp......suck in etc in that pattern. It was

sucking in (I couldnt feel pulse at that point just was aware of the

area where I had been feeling the pulse, going in).

Does anyone else get that?? and if so what's happening?? if I was

missing a heart beat every forth beat would that cause one to feel

that area actually go in??? wouldnt it just stay the same and there

be no beat???? or is this connected to the heart problem that

Cheney talks about that those with CFS can get???? would that make

ones pulse weird at times???? (thou I havent

been told I have anything like that).

After that incident, I spoke to a friend who is an experienced

ambulance officer about it but she had no idea what could cause a

sucking in feel (so obviously its something abnormal and not a normal

heart problem or whatever she's used to coming across). She did

wonder thou if I'd gone into a muscular spasm which was maybe

stopping me from feeling the pulse every fourth beat and also causing

the area where my finger was on my pulse to go in. We both thou

thought that if it was muscular, I probably would of realised that.

So Im confused.

Im concerned some. Obviously it was the shock which caused that to

happen and it went normal again after a while. Im concerned whether

i should worry about this at all or not, has the CFS damaged my

heart???. Does anyone know of a heart

problem or something else it could indicate?????
