Estradiol levels in CFS and Autism?

Hi, all.

I know most PWCs are women while I'm not of course, but am currently wondering

if low

estradiol status as I've tested for might be an important common nexus or

connection

between male autistic kids, adult female PWCs and adult male PWCs? In looking

at some

pubmed literature and a basic description of estradiol's function in the brain,

it seems

those who become low in it might have or be more susceptible to cognitive

problems as

happens in autism and CFS.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estradiol

Estradiol is the most important of the estrogens and it actually has

testosterone as an

important precursor to our bodies making it whether male or female. This is

interesting in

that autism has for a while now been suspected of being testosterone mediated

and

neurodegenerative, but since testosterone in normal healthy individuals becomes

estradiol

in the brain why isn't estradiol status or lack of it also a central focus in

what might be

causing autism and CFS?

What if the mechanism for transforming testosterone to estradiol starts off or

later

becomes faulty, inhibited or not so robust for autistics and PWCs?
